Every 10 years? But my watch's manufacture says every 3-5 years?
To be blunt, they would say that wouldn't they. There was a time when the oils in watches needed regularly refreshing and 3-5 years was good advice. But recent advances in synthetic oils mean the lubrication no longer dries to a sticky paste like it used to.
